Twit or Tweet?

Last night in our Family Night my husband told the kids he'd signed up for Twitter but had yet to send his first tweet!  Our youngest said, "Twits? I've read about them!"

He and another brother had to explain to us who "Twits" are.

The Twits is a humorous children's book written by Roald Dahl and illustrated by Quentin Blake. It was written in 1979, and first published in 1980.
Mr. and Mrs. Twit are two ugly, smelly, nasty, stupid people who spend their lives playing nasty tricks on each other.

And we explained to them what "tweets" are.

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author's profile page and delivered to the author's subscribers who are known as followers.

So the moral of this is ~ you guessed it ~ Send a tweet not a twit! Gosh say twit or tweet 3 times quickly and you'll be ready for Halloween.

Toasted caramel is September's Scent

I love anything caramel! What a glorious scent which definitely reminds me of the taste of carameled apples and making caramels too. Just click here to see or buy the jack-o-lantern warmer and/or toasted caramel scent.   BTW this warmer has been flying off the shelf and so has the toasted caramel scent!

D's favorite scents remind her of her Dad

It appears cousin D's favorite scents remind her of her Dad, B's Uncle. She really likes leather, oxford, casablanca, cashmere and boysenberry moss.  It's so amazing how happy it made her feel to think of her Dad who had just dropped her off to college.

She also likes strawberry and blueberry cheesecake. I think that's the #1 for her.

W's favorite scents are fruity scents

My friend W's favorite Scentsy scents are "lucky in love" and any fruity types so I just sent her a bunch  today.  I sent her pumpkin roll, baked apple pie etc. for autumn as well.  I'll have to ask her what memories come to mind for her and why these scents make her feel  happy.

Scentsy Scents Sell Homes Faster!

Ever put vanilla extract on a light bulb before house hunters came in your home? Even had cookies in the oven for the same reason? Well, try this instead. A and E received a Scentsy warmer for Christmas from their Uncle with the scent "Cherry Clove Chutney".   Soon after they moved and needed to sell their home after they were gone. They couldn't be there to have cookies in the oven either. .  They left their Scentsy warmer plugged in with the scented wafting through the home as you entered it. Their real estate agent says everyone commented on how great it smelled in their home. He also credits the quick sale of their home over other similar homes to the Scentys scent that did the same as being staged with furniture and home made cookies in the oven! He said I know your home sold so much faster than others listed because of it! For those of you who would like to buy scented candles and their warmers, you may visit ScentHappy.com
